Recuperative Thermal Oxidation is a very effective technology for VOCs and odours treatment.
Thermal oxidation is carried out at high temperatures, above 750 ºC, for an appropriate time with oxygen presence in order to ensure that the oxidation is performed.
Heat from oxidized gases is recovered, allowing its use for industrial processes or even the oxidation itself, reducing operational costs. The system enables a wide variety of adaptable configurations in order to obtain the highest energy efficiency of the process.
Oxidation chamber is the main part of the installation and it is designed for optimal residence time and turbulence. In each case the most suitable burner is used, stoichiometric or cone type, which obtains the oxygen required for combustion from the gas stream.
